Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for National Sample Survey Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has opened the bookings for the ₹75 commemorative coin issued to mark the 75 Years of National Sample Survey. The bookings are open from January 20, 2026, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier, on June 29, 2025, The Hon’ble Minister Shri Rao Inderjit Singh unveiled the ₹75 commemorative coin and a Customized My Stamp to mark 75 years of the National Sample Survey while commemorating the 19th Statistics Day on June 29, 2025, at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

The ₹75 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a folder or blister pack. Additionally, the UNC Set with a folder or blister pack, as well as the Proof Set with an MDF box, may be issued at a later date.

The ₹75 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a folder or blister pack, and is priced at ₹15,438. 

This commemorative coin is composed of 99.9% pure silver, weighs 40 grams, measures 44 mm in diameter, and features 200 serrations along its edge.

These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
