Mumbai Mint Commences Bookings for ESIC Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the bookings for the ₹75 commemorative coin issued to mark the 75th Foundation Day of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). The bookings are open from February 27, 2026, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier, on February 24, 2026, the Hon’ble Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, released the commemorative coin to mark the inaugural function at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The programme was attended by Shri N. K. Premachandran, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha); Smt. Vandana Gurnani, Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment; Shri Ramesh Krishnamurthi, Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO); Smt. Michiko Miyamoto, Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Decent Work Technical Support Team for South Asia and Country Office for India; along with senior officers of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and EPFO, who were also present on the occasion.

The ₹75 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged in a Cardboard (Kappa) Box priced at ₹8,678. It remains to be seen whether the Mumbai Mint will also release the UNC Sets, as well as the Proof Set in an Cardboard (Kappa) Box.

The above pricing is the initial issue price and is subject to revision. However, due to significant fluctuations in silver prices, the mint may review and revise the prices on a day-to-day basis. These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
