2023 - 2nd Numismatic Exhibit Featuring Graded World Banknotes

Exhibiting a selection from the World Graded Banknote collection at the October 2023 Monthly Meeting of the Karnataka Numismatic Society (KNS), held on October 8, 2023, at the Indian Institute of World Culture, B. P. Wadia Road, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru 560004, was a great privilege.

The Karnataka Numismatic Society, founded in 1974, boasts a membership that includes prominent figures in the field of Numismatics as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds. KNS regularly organises monthly meetings and talks on various numismatic subject, and also encourages its members to display their collections during its monthly meetings.

The privilege of showcasing several World Graded Banknotes, along with their details, during this monthly meeting was truly appreciated.

Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Sathya Sai Baba Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Birth Centenary of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba . The bookings are open from November 19, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the event at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. The Government of India will issue a ₹550  commemorative coin  to mark the  550th Year Celebration of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math .
