2025 - Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh | Commemorative Coin

A commemorative coin of ₹100 will be issued to mark the Centenary Year of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The Ministry of Finance has issued the gazette notification on September 30, 2025.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, popularly known as RSS, is one of the most prominent socio-cultural organizations in India. It was founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur with the vision of uniting the people of the country and instilling in them a spirit of discipline, selfless service, and cultural pride. Since its inception, the RSS has considered itself a voluntary movement dedicated to nurturing individuals with strong character, physical fitness, and devotion to the nation. Its daily gatherings, known as shakhas, bring together people of all ages to practice physical exercises, engage in discussions on values and national issues, and cultivate leadership qualities through teamwork and discipline.
