Dispatch Update on M S Subbulakshmi and Maharana Pratap Coins

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has commenced the dispatch process for the commemorative coins issued to mark the Birth Centenary of M S Subbulakshmi and the 475th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Pratap, starting from the first week of September 2018.


Bookings for these commemorative coins were open at the India Government Mint, Mumbai, from March 6th, 2018, to May 5th, 2018.

If you have placed an order for these coins, anticipate delivery within two months through India Post. Mumbai Mint will provide GPO Speed Post details on their website. Shri Amit Shah Releases ₹100 Coin on Jain Acharya Vidyasagar

The Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, released a ₹100 commemorative coin  and special postal envelope to mark the first Samadhi Divas of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj during his visit to Chandragiri, Dongargarh, Chhattisgarh, today, February 6, 2025. The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and Shri Naveen Jain, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), among others, accompanied Shri Amit Shah during the event.
