Mumbai Mint issues Silver Souvenir on Shree Ganesh Chaturthi

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has recently issued a Silver Souvenir token to commemorate the occasion of Shree Ganesh Chaturthi festival.


The obverse side of the token showcases the SPMCIL (Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited) logo, accompanied by the certification and mintmark, along with the year 2019 below. The inscriptions "श्री गणेश चतुर्थी" and "Shree Ganesh Chaturthi" are elegantly written in Devanagari and English.

On the reverse side, a captivating scene unfolds, depicting devotees worshiping Lord Ganesh during the Shree Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

Crafted with precision, this exquisite token has been struck at Mumbai Mint using Pure Silver, with a weight of 40 grams and 999 fineness. It is available in a Proof Set, priced at Rs 3360/-, and can be ordered from the India Government Mint official website.
