Former President to Release ₹125 Coin on Babuji Maharaj

The Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, is set to release the ₹125 commemorative coin to mark the 125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra Ji (Babuji Maharaj) on April 30, 2024.

The Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, has also been assigned as Chairman of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Babuji Maharaj Celebrations Committee. The event will be held at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad, and is set to become the epicenter of a monumental celebration. Preparations are in full swing for a mega meditation event poised to welcome an astounding 125,000 attendees and pay tribute to this significant milestone.

During this event, a Lladró statue of Babuji Maharaj will be unveiled, representing his spiritual grace and enduring legacy through intricately detailed porcelain craftsmanship. Babuji's figurine, exquisitely crafted, will join distinguished depictions of figures such as Lord Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, and Frida Kahlo.

In addition to the ₹125 coin and Lladró statue, there will be the release of collector’s edition books authored around Babuji’s works, including "Complete Works of Ram Chandra" and "Spiritual Anatomy.

The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on January 31, 2024, confirming the release of this coin. This marks the second commemorative coin associated with the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. In January 2023, a ₹150 coin was issued in honour of Shri Ram Chandra Ji, also known as 'Lalaji'. Stay tuned to this blog for further updates.

Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Sri Sathya Sai Baba Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has opened the bookings for the ₹100  commemorative coin  issued to mark the  Birth Centenary of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba . The bookings are open from November 19, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability. Earlier in the day, the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released the commemorative coin and postage stamp to mark the event at Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The Government of India will issue a ₹100  commemorative coin  to mark the ' Birth Centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba '. The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on April 22, 2025, confirming this coin. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was a revered spiritual leader and humanitarian, known for his teachings on love, unity of religions, and selfless service. Born in 1926 in Puttaparthi, India, he inspired millions through his message of "Love All, Serve All" and established numerous free hospitals, schools, and water projects to uplift humanity. His legacy continues to guide people worldwide in living a life of compassion, truth, and devotion.
