Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Hindi Rajbhasha Coins

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced bookings for the ₹75 commemorative coin issued to mark the 'Diamond Jubilee Year of Official Language'. The bookings are open from September 14, 2024, and it is subject to limited availability.

The ₹75 coin is available in both Proof and UNC sets, packaged in Folder/Blister options. Additionally, the Proof Set with an MDF or Wooden Box has been issued, providing collectors with more options for their collection.

During the morning session today, the Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, unveiled the ₹75 commemorative coin and postage stamp at the inaugural session of the Fourth Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The Proof Set is priced at ₹3,363, while the UNC set is priced at ₹3,085 for Folder/Blister package. The  MDF/Wooden Box should also be available soon.
