Hyderabad Mint Opens Bookings for Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Coins

The India Government Mint, Hyderabad, has commenced bookings for the ₹100 commemorative coin issued to mark the Birth Centenary of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. The bookings are open from November 9, 2024, and it is subject to limited availability.

The ₹100 coin is currently available in Proof, housed in MDF/Wooden Box packaging, priced at ₹4,940. While the Proof coins with Folder or Blister packaging is priced at ₹4,380.

Additionally, the Sahaja Yoga foundation had previously listed the ₹100 coin on their Sahaja Samagri website for the benefit of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's followers and devotees.

The metal composition of the ₹100 coin consists of a Quaternary Alloy, comprising 50% Silver, 40% Copper, 5% Nickel, and 5% Zinc. The coin weighs 35 grams and has a diameter of 44 mm, featuring 200 serrations along the edge.

Earlier, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, Shri Nitin Gadkari, in the presence of Former Union Minister Shri Anil Kumar Shastri, released the ₹100 commemorative coin, on 14th October 2024 at National Museum Auditorium, Janpath, New Delhi.

The UNC Sets in Folder or Blister packaging is now open for booking at a price of ₹4,100, as listed on the Mint's official website on November 15, 2024, and it is subject to limited availability.
