Kolkata Mint Starts Bookings for Babuji Maharaj Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has started accepting bookings for the ₹125 commemorative coin issued on Shri Ram Chandra Babuji Maharaj. The bookings has opened today, November 4, 2024, and are subject to limited availability.

Earlier, the Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, released the ₹125 commemorative coin to mark the '125th Birth Anniversary of Shri Ram Chandra 'Babuji Maharaj', on April 30, 2024, along with Shri Kamlesh Patel 'Daaji', at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad.

Currently, the ₹125 coin is available in Proof and UNC sets with Folder/Blister packaging. Proof sets with MDF/Wooden Box packaging are awaited, although it's uncertain if they will be issued.

The Proof set in Folder packaging is priced at ₹3,076, while the UNC set is priced at ₹2,820. The pricing remains competitive despite the recent surge in silver prices, offering collectors good value for these coin sets. Even with the fluctuating metal market, the Mint has managed to keep the prices accessible, ensuring that collectors can acquire the coins for their collections.

These coin sets can be obtained either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint. For further details and updates, please refer to the 'Current and Upcoming Bookings' section for your convenience.
