Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for Asian Elephant Colored Token

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened bookings for 'The Asian Elephant' colored souvenir token under the Endangered Animals of India theme from January 13, 2025.

The metal composition of the token is made of Nickel Silver (Copper 60%, Nickel 20% & Zinc 20%) weighing 32 grams with a 44 mm diameter  and 2.5 mm thickness.

Last year during the 19th Foundation Day celebrations of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) in February 15, 2024, the mint has released the 'Great One-Horned Rhinoceros' colored souvenir token under the Endangered Animals of India theme. 

The  Elephant colored souvenir token is issued at the price of ₹1506 and is available with a limited quantities.

These souvenir tokens are available at Mint Premises as well as on the India Government Mint's official website.
