Shri Nahata was a distinguished social leader, philanthropist, and entrepreneur who played a pivotal role in over 60 socio-religious organizations. His contributions spanned social welfare, religion, art promotion, animal care, and public service. Born into a prominent Bikaner family celebrated for its contributions to literature, art, and culture, Shri Nahata’s family possesses one of India’s largest private collections of manuscripts and artworks. A true patriot, he often proclaimed, "The Nation is above Religion and Culture. Only when the Nation is secure, Religion and Culture will be secure."
In recognition of Shri Nahata’s lasting legacy, the India Post had previously issued a commemorative postal stamp on his 10th Death Anniversary in 2009.
The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on December 31, 2024, confirming the ₹25 coin. This will be the second or third commemorative coin of 2025, reportedly minted by the India Government Mint, Mumbai.
