Kolkata Mint Commences Bookings for Ahilyabai Holkar Coin Sets
The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the ₹300 commemorative coin issued to mark the 300th Birth Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar. The bookings are open from September 9, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.
Earlier, on May 31, 2025, the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released a ₹300 commemorative coin in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, the Minister of Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with other ministers and distinguished dignitaries.
The ₹300 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged with a folder or blister pack. Additionally, the UNC Set with a folder or blister pack, as well as the Proof Set with an MDF box, may be issued at a later date.
