Chenab Bridge Coin Sets Available at National Rail Museum
The ₹100 commemorative coin issued to mark the commissioning of the Jammu–Srinagar Railway Line, featuring the iconic Chenab Bridge is now available at National Rail Museum, New Delhi.
Earlier on June 6, 2025, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released the commemorative coin marking this historic milestone and underscoring his commitment to strengthening rail infrastructure and improving connectivity in the region. The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways; Shri Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office; Shri Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir; and Chief Minister Shri Omar Abdullah, along with several other distinguished guests.
The ₹100 commemorative coin is currently available in a Proof Set housed in an MDF box at the Souvenir Shoppe counter of the National Rail Museum, New Delhi, priced at ₹4,300. The coin has been minted by the India Government Mint, Kolkata.
