2025 - 11th Numismatic Exhibit Showcasing British India Coins

Exhibited British India Coins with insights on Shades of Bronze and Copper Coins at the Monthly Meeting of the Karnataka Numismatic Society (KNS) on September 14, 2025, at the Indian Institute of World Culture, B. P. Wadia Road, Basavanagudi, Bangalore.

Founded in 1974, the Karnataka Numismatic Society (KNS) brings together prominent figures in the field of numismatics as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds. KNS regularly organizes monthly meetings and talks.

The Government of India will issue a ₹60  commemorative coin  to mark the  Diamond Jubilee (60 Years) of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited . The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on January 16, 2026, confirming this coin. Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is one of India’s major public sector oil refining companies and a key subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
