2025 – 7th Numismatic Exhibit Displaying Proof and UNC Sets

Exhibiting a selection of Proof and UNC coin sets of Republic India at the inaugural National Numismatic Exhibition (NNE) One Day Exhibition, held on May 4, 2025, at Hotel Bangalore Gate, Gajanana Towers, 9 & 12, Kempegowda Road, opposite Menaka Theater, Majestic, Bengaluru 560009, was a privilege.

Organized by Marudhar Arts, India’s premier numismatic auction house, the National Numismatic Exhibition has, since 2011, served as a cornerstone event for collectors, scholars, and enthusiasts across the country. Featuring a wide array of coins, paper money, and philatelic items, the event also includes live auctions and academic sessions. Held annually in Bengaluru, a city celebrated for its vibrant collector community, the exhibition continues to gain prominence with each passing year.

Recognizing the growing interest in numismatics and the need for more frequent platforms for interaction, display, and dealer stalls, Marudhar Arts introduced a new initiative in May 2025—the One-Day Exhibition. Designed to foster continuous engagement within the collector and dealer community, this event provides a unique space for exchange and growth.

During this inaugural edition, select Proof and UNC coin sets from the Republic of India were displayed. As with previous exhibits, the use of acrylic cases for the preservation and presentation of coin sets invited valuable feedback and insights from seasoned numismatists and fellow collectors.

PM Modi to Release ₹300 Coin on Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar

The Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is scheduled to release a ₹300  commemorative coin , and postage stamp to mark the 300th Birth Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar  on May 31, 2025, at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The ceremony is expected to be graced by the Chief Minister, Shri Mohan Yadav, Minister of Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, along with other ministers and distinguished dignitaries. PM Modi Releases ₹300 Coin on Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar

The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, released a ₹300 commemorative coin and a postage stamp to mark the 300th Birth Anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar today, May 31, 2025, during his participation in the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahasammelan held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel, along with other ministers and distinguished dignitaries. The Prime Minister also presented the National Devi Ahilyabai Award to a woman artist in recognition of her contributions to tribal, folk, and traditional arts.
