2022 - Statue of Unity: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav | Mint Souvenir Token

The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India (SPMCIL) and Augmont Gold jointly released the limited-edition souvenir token to mark 75th Independence Day.

This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in it’s evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Modi’s vision of activating India 2.0, fueled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements.

The limited-edition coin is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India in honour of his commitment and drive, and the iron mind to take up challenges. The 24K gold coin comes with 999 purity and weighs 7.5 grams in tamper-proof blister packaging. The coin is accompanied by a scroll on the Preamble of the Constitution of India and a book depicting 75 glorious years of India.

RBI Coin Sets Now Available at India Govt Mint's Delhi Counter

The ₹90  commemorative coin  issued to celebrate the  90 Years of Reserve Bank of India  (RBI) is now available at the Sales Counter at India Government Mint's Corporate Office in New Delhi. The ₹90 coin, featured in the Proof Set and offered in Folder/Blister packaging, is priced at ₹4950 as of April 18, 2024. However, online bookings for the commemorative coin have not yet begun, and there may be a difference in online pricing. It's important to note that the  metal composition  of this ₹90 coin is Pure Silver (99.9%), weighing 40 grams with a diameter of 44 mm. It also features 200 serrations along the edge. The ₹90 is minted by India Government Mint, Kolkata.
