Kolkata Mint Opens Bookings for National Bird Colored Token

The India Government Mint, Kolkata has opened bookings for 'National Bird Peacock' colored souvenir token from March 12, 2025.

The metal composition of the souvenir token is made of Nickel Silver (Copper 60%, Nickel 20% & Zinc 20%) weighing 32 grams with a 44 mm diameter  and 2.5 mm thickness.

Earlier, the mint has released two colored tokens under the Endangered Animals of India theme featuring 'Great One-Horned Rhinoceros' and 'The Asian Elephant'. 

The  National Bird Peacock colored souvenir token is issued at the price of ₹1506 and is available with a limited quantities.

These souvenir tokens are available at Mint Premises as well as on the India Government Mint's official website.

Kolkata Mint Starts Bookings for Make in India and Language Dept Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Kolkata, has commenced the bookings for the commemorative coins issued on 10th Anniversary of Make in India and Official Language Department . The bookings are open from March 16, 2026, and it is subject to limited availability. The first-ever coloured coin with ₹100 denomination was unveiled by the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal in New Delhi to mark a decade of the Make in India initiative on September 20, 2025.  The ₹50 coin was released to mark the Golden Jubilee of Official Language Department by the Union Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on June 26, 2025.
