Finance Minister to Unveil Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi's Coin

The Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, is set to unveil a ₹100 commemorative coin to mark the Birth Centenary of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in the second week of October, as revealed by the Nirmal Shakti Yuva Sangh.

The Ministry of Finance issued a gazette notification on September 6, 2024, confirming the release of this coin, and the details were posted on this blog earlier.

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, founder of Sahaja Yoga, spearheaded a spiritual movement promoting self-realization through meditation and awakening of inner energy. Born on March 21, 1923, in India, she dedicated her life to spreading a message of peace, self-awareness, and spiritual enlightenment.
