Mumbai Mint Begins Bookings for 350th Martyrdom Day Coin Sets

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, has opened the bookings for the ₹350 commemorative coin issued to mark the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur's 350th Martyrdom Day. The bookings are open from today, November 25, 2025, and it is subject to limited availability.

Earlier in the evening today,  the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, unveiled a ₹350 coin and a postage stamp, during a special programme in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The event was attended by the Governor of Haryana, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, and the Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini. Union Ministers Shri Manohar Lal, Shri Rao Inderjit Singh, and Shri Krishna Pal, along with other dignitaries, were also present.

The ₹350 coin is currently available in the Proof Set, packaged in a Cardboard (Kappa) Box. It remains to be seen whether the Mumbai Mint will also release the Proof and UNC Sets in booklet packaging. folder packaging, as well as the Proof Set in an MDF box.

The ₹350 coin in the Proof Set with the Cardboard (Kappa) Box package is priced at ₹10,820.

The coin’s pricing reflects its premium specifications—it is struck in 99.9% pure silver, weighs 40 grams, measures 44 mm in diameter, and features 200 serrations along the edge. These coin sets can be purchased either at the mint premises or through the official website of the India Government Mint, with updates available in the current and upcoming bookings section.
