120th Anniversary of Hyderabad Mint celebrated with a Souvenir Token

The 120th Anniversary of India Government Mint, Hyderabad was celebrated today with commemorative souvenir token.

These beautifully crafted souvenir token are made of silver and copper serve as a tribute to the rich legacy and contributions of the India Government Mint in the field of coinage and minting.

Shri Sunil Kumar Sinha, CMD of SPMCIL (Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited), Shri Ajay Agarwal, Director (Finance), SPMCIL, Srikara Pradhan, Chief General Manager, Security Printing Press, Hyderabad, VNR Nayudu, CGM, India Government Mint, Hyderabad, Dr. Deme Raja Reddy and others were present on the occasion while releasing the souvenir.

Speaking at the event, Sinha applauded the mint’s role in preserving the nation’s numismatic heritage and emphasized it’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of quality and security in the production of coins, medals, and other minted products.

The commemorative souvenir token comes in silver with 10 grams priced ₹1100, copper with 50 grams priced at ₹450 and 8 grams priced at ₹150. The souvenir tokens are available at the India Government Mint, Hyderabad counter.

Apart from the souvenir token, India Govt Mint, Hyderabad also launched Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav coins in special package priced at ₹500.
