Mumbai Mint Reopens Bookings for Four Earlier Coin Issues

The India Government Mint, Mumbai, reopened bookings for another four commemorative coins that were issued on various earlier occasions. The bookings were opened today, March 28, 2026, and are subject to limited availability.

These coin sets were issued as Proof Sets with booklets, whereas they were earlier available only in folder or blister packaging. These are the following four commemorative themes issued for the booking:

Collectors who focus on varieties and minting differences may find these sets worth exploring, whereas they may be of limited relevance to those who collect strictly on a thematic basis.

These commemorative coin sets are available exclusively through the official website of the India Government Mint. The Mumbai Mint Higher Denomination index has also been updated for reference.
